Education System Administrative Review

On behalf of consultant Avis Glaze, government is asking
parents and members of the public to comment on the recently
announced Education System Administrative Review.

The review is looking at the education system
administrative model and ensure the right administrative
structure is in place that best supports student success.

The questions are available at the following site:

The deadline for feedback is November 3rd and the final report is expected December 31st.

Ms. Glaze has extensive experience in system and
school improvement.

Call For Volunteers /Committee on Poverty

Dear Families of the SJA family of schools, Staff and Community Members,

We are looking for 8-10 participants!

The United Way and ESM will be co- hosting a meeting to discuss the issues and possible solutions around poverty.  We require 8-10 participants to be a part of this meeting.

The meeting will be on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 from 2:30-4:30 pm at East St. Margaret’s Consolidated School.  Tea/Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Participants will be offered an honorarium at $20.00 an hour for their time (of up to $40.00 for the two hours). If people need support for transportation, childcare, or interpretation, we can also provide  that as well.
